Public library closures in the UK
This map sets out the horrifying picture of possible closures to our public library system in the UK. To be honest, this is the stuff of nightmares for me – I cannot really believe that a civilised country can allow this to happen. Please visit your local library now or take part in the day of protest being organised by the author Alan Gibbons. If we allow this vandalism of our library service to happen, then we will never get our libraries back!
